ISLE OF WIGHT FLYING CLUB OPENS
On 26th July, Captain Peter McDonald MP officially inaugurated the new Isle of Wight Flying Club at Sandown airport. The Club had a new clubhouse on the airfield and the use of a Spartan Arrow provided by Sandown Flying Services. The Club operated Spartans, DH 60 Moths, Avro Avians and a DH 83 FoxMoth.
