SCHNEIDER TROPHY RACE
This year’s Schneider Trophy Race was held over a 218 mile course, this time starting and finishing off in Ryde.

Speeds were increasing at each successive event, and the winner on 7th September was Flying Office Waghorn of the Royal Air Force, flying a new Supermarine S-6 at the remarkable speed of 326.63 mph. Second was an Italian, and another British aircraft was third.
